The herbal medicine option

In Europe there is a unique category of herbal medicines, registered on the basis of their traditional use. As an example, in the UK the medicines regulator (MHRA) has both registered and fully licensed herbal medicines. A condition of medicine status is that manufacturers have to guarantee quality standards, label with appropriate self care conditions and agreed doses, and insert approved information leaflets to assure safe use. The following, available in UK supermarkets and pharmacies or online, are registered or licensed for use in helping mild anxiety.
